International Gems and Jewelry Fair to Be Held at Bangkok in July

The Bangkok International Gems and Jewelry Fair 2007 will be held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) Bangkok, Thailand over the 4th - 8th July, 2007. The fair, an annual event, will run on all five days from 10.00 am - to 8.00 pm. It is organized by B.G.& J. Co. Ltd., Bangkok. The fair will exhibit gold, diamond and silver jewelry, precious gemstones, semi-precious gemstones, fancy-cut gemstones, pearls, machinery, equipment, tools and jewelry boxes. It has a cash and carry format so that buyers can take instant delivery of their purchases - making it especially convenient for overseas visitors. Admission to the fair is free of charge, and it is open to visitors who have a gem or jewelry business or who are in a related field of the industry. Visitors will be expected to register to gain entrance. Dress code is business wear. Children under the age of 15 will not be permitted to enter.
For access to the fair?s venue take the MRT subway and exit at Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre Station. By BTS Skytrain, exit at Asoke Station and take multiple choices to connect to QSNCC - taxi, bus or subway. There are a wide range of options if traveling to the venue by bus. These include bus numbers: 45, 46, 109, 115, 116 and air-conditional bus numbers 22, 185, and 507. Taxis are another convenient way to get to and from the QSNCC. There is extensive on-site car parking space for 1,500 vehicles adjacent to the center.
